Business Development Manager – Life Sciences Consulting

About the role

Osprey Life Sciences, LLC is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive strategic growth and expand client partnerships within the Life Sciences industry. You will identify new opportunities, build executive‑level relationships, and position our consulting and services capabilities to solve complex business and technology challenges.

Key responsibilities

• Identify new client opportunities and grow existing Life Sciences accounts.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client contacts and key decision makers across business and IT functions.
• Manage the sales process, including prospecting, lead qualification, proposal coordination, follow‑up, and contract support.
• Partner with delivery, recruiting, and leadership teams to align client needs with consulting and technology service offerings.
• Maintain pipeline activity, support account expansion, and ensure strong client responsiveness to meet revenue growth goals.

Required profile

• 2–5 years of experience in sales, business development, account management, or client services within consulting, staffing, or professional services.
• Exposure to Life Sciences, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or other regulated industries is preferred.
• Strong understanding of consultative selling, client relationship management, and business development processes.
• Experience supporting proposals, contract coordination, and sales pipeline management.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Ability to build trust, develop lasting client relationships, and engage confidently with senior stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities.
