Business Development Manager

About the role

ACCIONA is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new market opportunities across North America. You will work at the intersection of infrastructure, transportation, construction, energy, concessions and public‑private partnership projects, supporting the company’s strategic growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute business development strategies aligned with regional and corporate growth targets.
• Monitor procurement forecasts, funding programs, legislative changes, competitor activity and client priorities to shape pursuit strategies.
• Provide expertise on alternative delivery models such as Design‑Build, Progressive Design‑Build, CMGC and PPP.
• Create and maintain market analytics, opportunity tracking dashboards and executive‑level reports.
• Identify, evaluate and qualify a pipeline of projects, partnerships and strategic opportunities.
• Maintain accurate client and opportunity data in the corporate CRM and business development systems.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders and internal teams—including executive leadership, operations, estimating, technical, finance, legal and communications—to position ACCIONA for successful pursuits.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development or market analysis within infrastructure‑related sectors.
• Strong understanding of public procurement models and PPP structures.
• Ability to synthesize market data into actionable insights for senior leadership.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
