Business Development Manager

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Business Development Manager to join its North America Issuers organization. The role focuses on account retention and relationship development with affiliate issuers, payment processors, and community banks/credit unions.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate outreach to thousands of affiliate issuers and their payment processors in the community bank and credit‑union segment to achieve volume and revenue growth.
• Develop proposals, negotiate contracts, and sell value‑added services such as Mastercard Advisors.
• Manage relationships with payment‑consultant firms and processor partners, responding to RFPs as needed.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams across Mastercard to meet revenue targets and increase market share within the assigned customer segment.
• Identify customer needs, devise growth strategies, and act as a trusted advisor to banking partners.
