Business Development Manager

About the role

MSI Express is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive growth within the food and beverage sector. You will identify, engage, and win new business while expanding relationships with existing customers in your assigned region.

Key responsibilities

• Prospect and identify new business opportunities in the food and beverage industry.
• Manage and grow an existing base of small‑to‑mid‑size MSI Express customers.
• Research market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to shape acquisition strategies.
• Generate leads through networking, cold calling, and industry events to maintain a robust pipeline.
• Assess client manufacturing and packaging requirements and develop customized solutions.
• Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations, proposals, and negotiate contracts.
• Collaborate with operations, quality, and project‑management teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
• Build long‑term client relationships, provide exceptional service, and act as a trusted advisor.
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to uncover new opportunities.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets, meeting revenue and profitability goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of proven business development, sales, or account management experience, preferably in food and beverage.
• Extensive knowledge of the food and beverage market, including trends, key players, and regulations.
• Strong network and existing relationships with potential clients in the assigned region.
