Business Development Manager – Electronics Manufacturing (Remote)

About the role

This is a pure hunter position focused on generating new business for a fast‑growing, private‑equity‑backed electronics manufacturing platform. You will own the end‑to‑end sales cycle, develop relationships with strategic OEM customers, and convert opportunities into multi‑year manufacturing agreements across multiple industries and geographies.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify high‑value opportunities with target OEMs.
• Build and nurture long‑term relationships with decision‑makers in aerospace, defence, medical, industrial and transportation sectors.
• Win large OEM accounts and secure multi‑year manufacturing programmes.
• Deliver $3M‑$9M of new revenue within the first 12 months.
• Collaborate with internal engineering and operations teams to ensure fast quotation and response times.

Required profile

• Proven track record in business development or sales within industrial or manufacturing environments.
• Strong ability to work independently and manage a full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signing.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills with senior executives.
• Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused culture.
