Business Development Manager – Beauty Packaging (NYC/NY/NJ)

About the role

We are seeking a Business Development Manager to drive B2B growth within the beauty, fragrance and skincare packaging sector. Based in the New York City/New Jersey area, you will work in a hybrid setting, connecting indie brands to larger cosmetics manufacturers.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new packaging opportunities with indie beauty brands and mid‑size to enterprise cosmetics companies.
• Build and maintain a pipeline of prospects by monitoring upcoming product launches.
• Collaborate with packaging converters, OEM/ODM suppliers and sourcing teams to match client needs.
• Negotiate and close deals that expand the company’s footprint in the beauty packaging supply chain.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year experience in beauty, cosmetics, fragrance or related packaging supply chain.
• Strong network within the NYC/U.S. East Coast beauty industry.
• Proven “hunter” mindset with a focus on new‑business acquisition rather than account management.
• Experience working directly with packaging manufacturers, converters or sourcing teams.

Required skills

• Knowledge of B2B sales processes in the beauty packaging sector.
• Understanding of packaging materials, converters and OEM/ODM operations.
