Business Development Executive – Bay Area

About the role

BPM is seeking a Business Development Executive to drive growth across its Audit, Tax, and Advisory service lines in the San Francisco Bay Area. The role focuses on selling professional services to middle‑market businesses, IPO‑track companies, and large owner‑managed enterprises through a consultative, relationship‑driven approach.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, initiate, and nurture new business leads within the Bay Area market.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing clients, positioning BPM as a one‑stop professional services provider.
• Collaborate with audit, tax, and advisory teams to craft tailored service proposals.
• Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the firm’s overall growth strategy.
• Represent BPM at industry events and networking opportunities to expand the firm’s visibility.

Required profile

• 7–10 years of business development experience in professional services (accounting, law, or consulting).
• Established network of contacts within the Bay Area business community.
• Proven track record of lead generation and closing complex service engagements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a consultative sales mindset.
• Self‑starter who embodies an entrepreneurial spirit and thrives in a collaborative environment.
