Business Development Consultant – Energy, Infrastructure & Mining

About the role

Business France is seeking a Business Development Consultant to support French companies entering the North American market in the energy, infrastructure, and mining sectors. You will act as a Trade Advisor, building relationships and creating opportunities for growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and engage prospective partners, customers, and stakeholders through targeted outreach (calls, emails, LinkedIn, networking).
• Qualify business opportunities and assess market potential for French companies.
• Understand prospects' needs, challenges, and strategic priorities.
• Generate and secure high‑value business meetings between French firms and North American decision‑makers.
• Build and maintain a strong network of industry contacts and strategic accounts.
• Lead business development projects across industrial, infrastructure, and mining sectors.
• Organise and deliver trade missions, seminars, networking events, and B2B programmes.
• Represent Business France at major North American industry events and trade shows.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the U.S., Canada, and France.
• Participate in a structured training programme, including sessions in France.

Required profile
