Business Development Associate

About the role

PATH, a global nonprofit focused on health equity, is seeking a Business Development Associate to support its funding activities. Reporting to the BD Director, the associate will help manage proposal processes, donor communications, and knowledge‑management systems.

Key responsibilities

• Track funding alerts, complete donor portal submissions, and manage donor communications.
• Proofread BD team documents and process partnership agreements with Legal.
• Maintain SharePoint and Box structures, support Salesforce analytics, and keep donor registrations up to date.
• Research potential donors and partners, prepare outreach materials, and assist in drafting technical proposals, annexes, and supporting documents.
• Coordinate with global and country proposal teams, conduct quality‑assurance reviews, and assemble final proposals for submission.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of office‑based experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks, deadlines, and priorities.
• Self‑starter who works well in a team across multiple sites and time zones.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
