Business Consultant / Business Analyst – SaaS

About the role

Trace One is seeking a Business Consultant/Business Analyst to join its Professional Services team. You will act as a trusted functional and business expert, translating customer needs into effective SaaS solutions and supporting long‑term product adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Lead workshops to gather, analyse and prioritise business and functional requirements.
• Collaborate with the Enterprise Solution Architect to create the Business Blueprint and ensure the design aligns with business goals and product vision.
• Deliver system design elements such as data migration rules, business rules, prototypes and detailed specifications.
• Support multiple projects simultaneously, working closely with Project Managers and cross‑functional teams.
• Define requirements, acceptance criteria and validate deliverables during development, QA and UAT phases.
• Provide functional guidance as a subject‑matter expert to customers, partners and internal teams.
• Assist Sales and Pre‑Sales activities, including RFPs, RFIs and solution demonstrations.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience delivering software solutions as a Business Consultant.
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience with software design and modelling tools such as UML.
• Proven ability in requirements gathering, solution design and stakeholder management.
• Professional proficiency in English and Italian.
• Willingness to travel domestically and occasionally internationally.
