Business Analyst III

About the role

We are looking for a results‑driven Business Analyst III to join Elsevier’s Clinical Learning Hub (CLH) team. The analyst will partner with business stakeholders to capture requirements, analyse processes, and translate business needs into clear technical specifications that support data‑informed decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse and document business processes and requirements, converting them into user stories and functional specifications.
• Develop system specifications, process flows, and conversion strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Create technical and functional documentation for users and stakeholders.
• Evaluate existing systems, identify improvement opportunities, and recommend solutions.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (business, IT, remote developers) to ensure requirements are met.
• Support solution quality by maintaining test scripts and contributing to best‑practice tools and processes.

Required profile

• 3+ years of IT business analyst experience.
• BS/BA degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience; ISEB‑qualified (UK) or IIBA CBAP (US) preferred.
• Proven experience working in an Agile environment using Scrum, Kanban, or similar methodologies.
• Strong communication, documentation, and facilitation skills, including leading workshops with stakeholders at all levels.
