Bulk Terminal Operator – IMT

About the role

The Bulk Terminal Operator supports safe and efficient movement of petroleum coke and coal at the terminal. Working under supervision, the role ensures all operations follow standard procedures and regulatory requirements while maintaining equipment reliability.

Key responsibilities

• Perform terminal operations as directed, adhering to SOPs and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Operate heavy equipment such as wheel loaders, E‑crane, Krupp stacker/reclaimer, D‑10 dozer, ship loader, conveyor systems, and Continuous Barge Unloader (CBU).
• Observe all safety rules, attend required training, and maintain high quality standards.
• Assist the maintenance team with minor repairs and perform routine equipment upkeep (greasing, fueling, fluid checks, daily inspections).
• Complete daily inspection reports and perform other duties as needed.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Physical capability to climb ladders, work at heights, negotiate uneven surfaces, and lift up to 50 lb.
• Dependable attendance, ability to respond to call‑outs, and willingness to work in all weather conditions.
• Pass company drug screen, background check, and obtain a TWIC credential.
