Building Architect – Remote, $50/hr Part‑time

About the role
Mercor is seeking a Building Architect to support AI research labs by evaluating and improving AI models that process visual architectural documents. This is a fully remote, part‑time contract position offering up to $50 per hour for 15–20 hours of work each week.
Key responsibilities
- Evaluate AI models on visual document understanding within the architecture domain.
- Author complex, grounded tasks with clear ground‑truth outputs and objective rubrics.
- Review and refine AI‑generated content to ensure alignment with architectural principles.
- Collaborate with subject‑matter experts to enhance dataset consistency and coverage.
- Work independently and asynchronously to meet deadlines and improve model performance.
Required profile
- Demonstrated expertise in the architecture field.
- Experience creating complex tasks with objective evaluation rubrics.
- Ability to work remotely and manage time effectively.
