BTP Solution Engineer (SAP Integration)

About the role

The BTP Solution Engineer will design and deliver scalable integration solutions on SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) for a US‑based enterprise. Working closely with architects, developers, and business stakeholders, you will enable secure, high‑performance data flow between SAP and non‑SAP systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement integration solutions using SAP BTP services such as Integration Suite, API Management, and Event Mesh.
• Build and maintain inbound, outbound, and bidirectional interfaces between SAP and external systems.
• Develop APIs, middleware components, and event‑driven architectures following enterprise integration standards.
• Perform data transformation and mapping (JSON, XML, IDoc) to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects and application teams to define integration requirements and solution designs.
• Participate in testing, deployment, release management, and production support activities.
• Monitor integration flows, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with security, governance, and enterprise standards.
• Contribute to Agile delivery processes, including sprint planning and technical estimation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in integration engineering, SAP development, or cloud‑based integration roles.
• Strong understanding of SAP ecosystems (ECC, S/4HANA, PO/PI) and enterprise integration landscapes.
