About the role

Join the historic Lincoln Cornhusker Marriott as a Breakfast Café Server, delivering memorable experiences to guests each morning. You will be part of a team that values attention to detail and exceptional service in a landmark hospitality setting.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly, courteously, and with a friendly demeanor.
• Learn the full menu, take orders, and enter them accurately into the Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Replenish beverages, check guest satisfaction, and maintain a clean service station throughout the shift.
• Present checks, thank guests, and invite them to return.
• Perform general cleaning tasks using standard products to meet health standards.

Required profile

• Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation, including alcoholic beverages.
• Strong English reading, writing, and speaking skills for guest interaction.
• Ability to remember and promote menu items and handle cash accurately.
• Compliance with state, federal, and corporate liquor regulations.
• Positive attitude, teamwork, and motivation during both busy and slow periods.
• Physical ability to transport trays continuously throughout the shift.
