Brand Marketer

About the role

Cognition, an applied AI lab behind Devin – the first AI software engineer – is looking for a creative, strategic Brand Marketer. You will shape how the company is perceived by developers and engineering leaders, driving product launches, brand campaigns, and day‑to‑day messaging.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end product launches, coordinating messaging, creative assets, channels, timing, and cross‑functional teams.
• Define campaign strategy, including insight, audience, message, and execution across paid, organic, out‑of‑home, events, and partnerships.
• Partner with creative agencies, set briefs, provide feedback, and ensure deliverables are on‑strategy and on‑brand.
• Own upper‑funnel brand awareness initiatives such as out‑of‑home marketing.
• Develop messaging and positioning that translate product capabilities into compelling copy for developers and engineering leaders.
• Scope, produce, and oversee video content for ads, demos, and launch videos.
• Build and refine a marketing playbook with templates, timelines, checklists, and processes.

Required profile

• Creative strategist with a strong sense of taste and the ability to identify compelling product angles.
• Hands‑on executor who can manage complex campaigns from brief to launch.
• AI‑native professional who uses AI tools daily and embraces automation.
• Clear, concise writer capable of crafting headlines, briefs, emails, and landing‑page copy.
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and iterating brand positioning based on market feedback.
