Boutique Assistant – Hudson Yards

About the role

The Boutique Assistant supports the boutique’s daily operations, ensuring a welcoming environment, smooth client experiences, and optimal hospitality. This on‑site role works closely with Brand Ambassadors to maintain visual standards and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general upkeep and appearance of the sales floor.
• Assist with merchandising, visual standards, product maintenance, and cleanliness.
• Partner with Brand Ambassadors to manage inventory, replenishment, ordering, and storage organization.
• Oversee product movement (shipments, transfers, consignments) while ensuring quality control and preventing loss.
• Conduct inventory counts (daily/weekly/monthly) and support annual inventory processes.
• Order office and store supplies and act as the main contact for store maintenance services.
• Provide administrative support, help on the sales floor, and assist with opening, closing, and special events.

Required profile

• 2+ years of experience as a Boutique Assistant or similar retail role.
• High School Diploma required.
• Ability to lift boxes up to 25 lb and stand for 2‑3 hours at a time.
• Excellent team player with strong verbal and written communication.
• Good time‑management and organizational abilities.
• Experience in luxury retail, service, or hospitality is a plus.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Word.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Experience with a CRM system (preferred).
