Board Certified Electrophysiologist – Full‑time Physician

About the role

Ochsner Health’s Department of Cardiology in New Orleans is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible electrophysiologist to join a large, academic‑focused group practice. The department includes 71 cardiologists across five community locations and the main academic medical center, and its advanced EP program is expanding with a seventh adult electrophysiologist. The role combines direct patient care, teaching of medical students, residents and fellows, and active participation in clinical research.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct adult electrophysiology patient care, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows in cardiology and EP.
• Participate in clinical research initiatives and contribute to scholarly activities.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of cardiologists across multiple Ochsner locations.

Required profile

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Electrophysiology.
• Experience in adult electrophysiology practice.
