Blockchain Data Wizard – Analyst/Scientist

About the role

Allium is seeking a Blockchain Data Wizard to help build the canonical data layer that powers on‑chain finance for institutions. You will work on ingesting, verifying and standardising massive blockchain datasets, turning raw events into audit‑grade financial records.

Key responsibilities

• Ingest and maintain full‑history data from 140+ blockchains, handling petabyte‑scale storage.
• Translate raw blockchain events into standardized financial concepts such as payments, trades, deposits and staking income.
• Develop and optimise read‑oriented data pipelines and APIs for low‑latency access.
• Implement and enforce auditable methodologies, SLAs and compliance frameworks (SOC 1/2).
• Collaborate with finance, risk and engineering teams to deliver reliable data for reporting, reconciliation and real‑time applications.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with experience handling large, complex datasets.
• Understanding of blockchain architecture, consensus mechanisms and smart‑contract data models.
• Experience in building production‑grade data infrastructure for enterprise use.
• Ability to work independently and communicate technical concepts to cross‑functional stakeholders.

Required skills

• SQL for querying and transforming large data sets.
• Proficiency with blockchain node operation and data extraction.
