Biomedical Equipment Technician – Field Service

About the role

Support Philips Multi-Vendor Services as a Biomedical Equipment Technician serving customers in Valhalla, NY. You will manage customer relationships by installing, troubleshooting, servicing, and maintaining biomedical equipment on site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, field change orders, installations and independently diagnose electronic, network and mechanical issues.
• Complete all required documentation such as timesheets, work orders, expense reports and regulatory paperwork within Philips, state and federal guidelines.
• Provide exceptional customer service, adhere to entitlements, set expectations and resolve issues promptly.
• Participate in onsite work teams, improve processes and identify training gaps.

Required profile

• 3+ years experience in a medical service environment or 5+ years in electromechanical industries.
• Associate degree in electronics or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and on‑call as needed.
• Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship and reside within commuting distance of Valhalla, NY.

Required skills

• Knowledge of electronic, mechanical and networking theory for equipment installation and repair.
• Experience with biomedical devices such as patient monitors, ventilators, defibrillators and infusion pumps.
• Proficiency with service manuals, diagnostic tools and test equipment.
