BIM/CAD Manager – Mechanical Construction

About the role

The BIM/CAD Manager will lead Building Information Modeling coordination, CAD standards, and model quality across multiple mechanical construction projects. This role blends hands‑on technical work with process management, ensuring that project teams deliver coordinated, accurate, construction‑ready models.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily BIM data management and coordination for several projects.
• Develop and implement BIM Execution Plans (BEPs) and project‑specific workflows.
• Facilitate BIM kickoff meetings and enforce company standards.
• Mentor project teams on Revit workflows, BIM processes, and model development.
• Maintain and improve BIM standards, templates, and digital workflows.
• Perform quality control reviews of BIM models for constructability and compliance.
• Monitor and resolve Revit warnings while preserving model integrity.
• Upgrade and migrate Revit models between software versions.
• Create accurate as‑built Revit models from existing drawings and field data.
• Coordinate information exchange with internal teams and external design partners.
• Conduct Navisworks clash detection, resolve issues, and lead clash review meetings.
• Evaluate emerging BIM technologies and workflow enhancements.
• Support CAD production for HVAC, piping, plumbing, and sheet‑metal systems and produce detailed 2D/3D mechanical construction drawings.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading BIM coordination on mechanical construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of Revit and Navisworks for mechanical design.
• Experience mentoring designers and BIM specialists.
• Ability to develop and enforce BIM Execution Plans and company standards.
