Billing Specialist – Remote (US)

About the role

Sharecare is looking for a detail‑oriented Billing Specialist to join its finance team remotely from the United States. You will ensure accurate invoicing, maintain account data integrity, and support the accounts receivable process.

Key responsibilities

• Review and approve new customer accounts, confirming all required documentation is complete.
• Update and correct customer account details in the billing system.
• Generate, review, and process invoices, applying correct pricing, discounts, taxes, and payment terms.
• Analyze billing data to spot discrepancies and prevent delays or disputes.
• Collaborate with sales, customer service, and finance teams to resolve billing issues.
• Respond to customer inquiries about billing and account status.
• Maintain organized accounts receivable records for audits and reporting.
• Support continuous improvement of billing processes and system updates.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in billing, financial transactions, or accounts receivable.
• High School Diploma or GED; an Associate Degree in Business or related field is preferred.
• Strong data‑entry and data‑validation abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.

Required skills

• Experience with billing software.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
