Bilingual Project Engineer – Residential Construction

About the role

JMK Contractor is seeking a bilingual (English and Spanish) Project Engineer to support residential projects in Miami Beach, Florida. You will work closely with a skilled team, leveraging advanced tools such as Buildertrend and Matterport 3D scanning to deliver high‑quality results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage payroll processes, ensuring accurate documentation, budget alignment, and clear communication with team members.
• Prepare and consolidate daily work plans and reports to monitor progress, document tasks, and identify improvement opportunities.
• Coordinate with subcontractors to confirm schedules, track performance, and ensure compliance with company agreements and standards.
• Onboard and train subcontractors, maintaining up‑to‑date documentation and establishing clear performance expectations.
• Resolve issues promptly while designing and implementing systems that proactively address recurring challenges.
• Refine operational infrastructure to create scalable processes, improve efficiency, and support long‑term growth goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or engineering, preferably in a project engineer role.
• Architectural or engineering background.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Familiarity with Buildertrend or similar project management software.
• Knowledge of building codes and construction standards (preferred).
