About the role

SnappyCX is seeking a bilingual Patient Coordinator to support a U.S.-based healthcare client. The role is fully remote and open to candidates in Colombia, requiring fluent English and Spanish communication.

Key responsibilities

Coordinate communication between patients, families, providers, caregivers, and internal teams.
Schedule appointments, manage follow‑ups, and maintain accurate patient records in EHR/EMR systems.
Handle inbound/outbound calls and emails, process referrals, and verify insurance eligibility.
Escalate urgent concerns and ensure HIPAA compliance throughout all interactions.

Required profile

Previous experience supporting a U.S.-based healthcare organization.
Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish.
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple patients and tasks.
Reliable computer, internet connection, and remote workspace.

Required skills

Familiarity with EHR/EMR platforms (e.g., Athenahealth, eClinicalWorks).
Experience with healthcare coordination tools such as HHAeXchange.
Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality.
