Bilingual Legal Assistant

About the role

Job Duck is looking for a detail‑oriented Bilingual Legal Assistant to support a fast‑paced personal injury law practice. This fully remote, full‑time position will help keep case files accurate, organized, and moving forward while working closely with pre‑suit paralegals and the legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Review incoming legal records for accuracy, completeness, and relevance, flagging any missing or inconsistent information.
• Manage and triage incoming and outgoing email communications.
• Maintain organized digital case files within the CRM system.
• Request and follow up on insurance policy information, declarations pages, coverage confirmations, and insurance logs.
• Support pre‑suit personal injury cases by organizing files from intake through demand preparation.
• Request, track, and follow up on medical records, bills, liens, and provider documentation.

Required profile

• Background in personal injury law.
• Experience with email and document management systems.
• Proficiency with standard office productivity tools.
• Reliable computer setup (laptop/PC, headset) and stable internet (minimum 10 Mbps download / 5 Mbps upload).
• Quiet, distraction‑free remote work environment.
