About the role

Join a fast‑growing New Jersey immigration law firm as a Bilingual Immigration Paralegal and Declarations Writer. You will support humanitarian immigration cases, take client declarations, and prepare legal packets while working closely with attorneys and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and take client declarations for VAWA, T‑Visa, U‑Visa, and family‑based cases.
• Prepare middle‑role legal packets, including cover letters, correspondence, and forms, using firm templates.
• Conduct legal research and gather case‑specific information.
• Apply internal processes and workflows to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish, providing clear and empathetic updates.
• Collaborate with attorneys and team members to deliver high‑quality client service.

Required profile

• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and Spanish.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate legal documents.
• Team‑oriented mindset with a client‑focused approach.
• Quick learner who can adapt to new legal concepts and workflows.
• Analytical thinker capable of organizing facts logically.

Required skills

• Bilingual English‑Spanish proficiency.
• Minimum 6 months experience with humanitarian immigration cases (VAWA, T‑Visa, U‑Visa, family‑based).
• Experience taking declarations and drafting legal documents.
• Basic knowledge of immigration legal documents, processes, and workflows.
• Ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately.
