Bilingual (English/Spanish) AMFT/APCC Therapist – Substance Use Disorder

About the role

Join a cross‑disciplinary team at a leading substance‑use disorder treatment center, providing direct clinical services to adults and families in Hollywood. The position requires delivering bilingual (English/Spanish) counseling and supporting clients with co‑occurring disorders.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct at least 20 hours per week of individual, family, or group counseling sessions.
• Develop behavioral wellness and safety plans for high‑risk clients.
• Participate in case conferences, treatment planning, and clinical discussions.
• Document client interactions in electronic systems in compliance with HIPAA and 42 CFR.
• Maintain client records according to state and county regulations (Title 22, Title 9, SAPC DMC Provider Manual).
• Attend staff meetings, agency trainings, and provide administrative assistance on ASAM assessments and treatment plans.

Required profile

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
• Current AMFT or APCC licensure.
• Experience working with substance‑use disorder and co‑occurring mental health conditions.
• Ability to adhere to confidentiality standards and regulatory requirements.
• Commitment to full‑time, onsite work in a 24/7 treatment facility.
