Bilingual Customer Support Consultant (French/English)

About the role

We are looking for a bilingual (French/English) Customer Support Consultant to join IDEXX’s virtual support team. In this fully remote position you will act as the primary liaison between veterinary professionals and IDEXX’s reference laboratories, helping ensure accurate diagnostics and timely service.

Key responsibilities

• Answer an average of 50‑70 inbound calls per day, providing prompt solutions within approximately five minutes per interaction.
• Clarify laboratory test results, coordinate follow‑up testing, and arrange sample pickup and delivery.
• Document each interaction in IDEXX’s systems and use internal tools to track issues and resolutions.
• Communicate with customers via phone, email, voicemail, and Microsoft Teams during scheduled business hours.
• Maintain a quiet, professional home workspace equipped with a high‑speed internet connection and supplied hardware.

Required profile

• Fluent in both French (preferably Quebecois) and English, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem‑solving ability, attention to detail, and capacity to multitask in a fast‑paced environment.
• Associate’s or bachelor’s degree in a scientific or computer‑related field, or equivalent experience.
• Comfortable spending up to eight hours per day on the phone and handling multiple customer channels.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Teams for messaging and collaboration.
