Bilingual Associate Attorney

About the role

The firm is seeking a bilingual Associate Attorney to provide legal representation and support in civil litigation, family law, and immigration matters. The successful candidate will manage cases from intake through resolution while working closely with a collaborative legal team.

Key responsibilities

• Draft and review pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence.
• Propound and respond to discovery, take and defend depositions, and prepare cases for hearings and trial.
• Represent clients in court proceedings, hearings, and trials.
• Conduct thorough legal research and deliver well‑reasoned analysis and recommendations.
• Manage cases from intake through resolution, ensuring deadlines and court requirements are met.
• Communicate effectively with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in both English and Spanish.
• Collaborate with colleagues on case strategy, knowledge sharing, and workload management.

Required profile

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar (or ability to become licensed in Texas).
• Minimum of 2 years of practicing law, preferably in civil litigation and pre‑litigation.
• Experience in family law and/or immigration law is strongly preferred.
