BI (Analytics) Engineer

About the role

Candid Health is looking for an Analytics Engineer to bridge analytics engineering, business intelligence, and data analysis. You will own data modeling and pipelines that power downstream data products, working closely with stakeholders across the business to scale the data team.

Key responsibilities

• Own data modeling: build and deliver critical reporting, analytics, and data models for diverse use cases.
• Set the foundation for future data work: improve and scale data infrastructure to enable future ML and AI products.
• Implement new processes and systems for data collection and analysis: collaborate with engineers to understand complex production data and ensure tooling and visualization platforms are accurate and available.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering, Library Science, or a related data‑intensive field.
• 4+ years of experience in Data Science, Data Analytics, or Data Engineering at a high‑growth startup or scaled technical organization.
• Hands‑on experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
• Strong understanding of SQL in complex data environments.
• Enthusiasm for data modeling, including knowledge of slowly changing dimensions.

• Estimated annual salary range $135,000 to $180,000 USD.
