Beverage Supervisor - Isleta Amphitheater

About the role

The Beverage Supervisor directs all activities of the beverage department at the Isleta Amphitheater in Albuquerque. The role covers the overall operation and financial responsibility of the beverage outlet, working closely with the Purchasing Manager and the F&B team.

Key responsibilities

• Direct all activities of the beverage department and provide its overall operational and financial responsibility
• Conduct monthly inventory to ensure all alcoholic beverages are accounted for, and monitor inventory and pricing daily
• Coordinate the movement of beverages and equipment according to restaurant and catering operations
• Develop and institute beverage training for the F&B team, including state and local beverage laws and regulations
• Work with the Purchasing Manager on beverage orders and develop the drink menu
• Maintain high standards of beverage quality, service and marketing to maximise profits through excellent customer service
• Follow and encourage the team to follow safety policies, report unsafe conditions, complete safety training and report incidents in the risk management system

Required profile

• Ability to work long hours and flexible shifts, including mornings, nights, weekends and holidays
• College degree preferred; Food & Beverage and/or restaurant experience preferred
• Excellent knowledge of food and beverage preparation, service standards, guest relations and etiquette
• Ability to work independently or in a team, make quick decisions, delegate duties and stay calm under pressure
• Punctual, dependable and able to read, speak and write English
