Benefits & Data Analyst (Remote, USA)

About the role

Kelly is seeking a Benefits & Data Analyst to translate healthcare claims, utilization, and population health insights into actionable benefits strategies. This remote position supports the design, implementation, and optimization of employee health and welfare programs.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze healthcare claims and utilization data to recommend benefits strategies for leadership.
• Partner with internal and offshore analytics teams to identify cost drivers, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Evaluate benefits programs, clinical solutions, and vendor performance to enhance outcomes and ROI.
• Develop and implement healthcare and benefits strategies aligned with organizational and employee needs.
• Lead strategic benefits initiatives from recommendation through execution, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
• Create business cases, executive presentations, and recommendations based on analytics and industry trends.
• Collaborate with vendors, brokers, consultants, and cross‑functional teams to support plan design and program effectiveness.
• Monitor benefits metrics and KPIs to drive data‑informed decision‑making.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in benefits administration, total rewards, healthcare benefits, plan design, cost modeling, or healthcare analytics.
• Strong understanding of health and welfare benefits, including medical, pharmacy, dental, and other employee programs.
• Experience interpreting claims, utilization, or population health data and turning findings into business recommendations.
• Familiarity with self‑insured health plans, cost management, vendor management, or benefits strategy is preferred.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management abilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
