Benefits Communications Consultant

About the role

The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is seeking a Benefits Communications Consultant to join the Office of Employee Benefits in Newark, NJ. In this senior position you will translate complex benefits proposals and strategic plans into clear, executive‑level communications that support governance and decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Convert technical benefits data into concise executive summaries for oversight committees.
• Develop high‑impact presentations that reflect benefits leadership strategies.
• Present complex benefits recommendations to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.
• Ensure all communication materials meet governance standards and timelines.
• Advise senior leaders on format and content of communications and maintain a consistent brand voice.
• Facilitate feedback loops between governance groups and benefits business teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Human Resources, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• 8+ years of corporate communications experience, preferably focused on benefits.
• Proven ability to prepare communications for executive leaders, boards, or governance groups.
• Experience navigating matrix organizations and complex approval processes.
• Strong understanding of benefits plan administration.
• High adaptability to shifting business priorities.
