About the role

Join the culinary team at Hilton St. Petersburg Carillon Park as a Banquet Cook, preparing high‑quality dishes for banquet events while maintaining a safe and sanitary kitchen environment.

Key responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare appetizers, salads, cold dishes, and cooked items such as meats, fish, and vegetables.
• Wash, peel, cut, and trim fruits, vegetables, and meats; bake breads, rolls, and other baked goods.
• Portion, arrange, and garnish food for service or guest pick‑up.
• Maintain clean and sanitized work areas, including cutting boards and counters, and store food items properly.
• Adhere to safe food handling procedures and wear protective equipment.

Required profile

• High school diploma preferred.
• Previous culinary experience or equivalent training required.
• May need a Department of Health Sanitation certificate.
