About the role

Offit Kurman is seeking an experienced Bankruptcy Paralegal to support its litigation and restructuring practice in Los Angeles or Dallas.

Key responsibilities

Prepare, review, and file pleadings, petitions, and motions.
Manage case dockets, deadlines, and document gathering.
Organize and maintain case files and conduct legal research.
Draft correspondence, discovery materials, and court filings.
Communicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counsel.

Required profile

Minimum six years of litigation experience with a focus on bankruptcy law.
Strong drafting and legal research abilities.
Thorough understanding of Chapter 7 and Chapter 11 procedures.
Highly organized, responsive, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Required skills

Proficiency with legal research platforms.
Proficiency with case management systems.
