About the role

Setpoint is building the core infrastructure that powers credit relationships for banks, lenders, and capital markets. As a Backend Software Engineer you will join a fast‑growing startup and help deliver critical features that enable secure, instant financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Own end‑to‑end product features from concept to production.
• Improve developer tooling and internal platforms to keep the team moving quickly.
• Collaborate with product, design, and external partners to translate customer needs into reliable backend services.
• Participate in rapid prototyping cycles with tight customer‑feedback loops.

Required profile

• 3+ years of professional experience as a backend software engineer.
• Comfortable taking ownership of major initiatives and delivering high‑quality code.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work across multiple teams.
• Eagerness to learn, receive feedback, and adapt in a dynamic startup environment.
