Azure Database Developer

About the role

We are seeking an Azure Database Developer to design, build, and maintain high‑performance databases on Azure SQL. The role focuses on delivering robust T‑SQL solutions, automating deployments, and supporting .NET applications in a cloud‑first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, tune, and maintain stored procedures, indexes, and queries in SQL Server/Azure SQL.
• Design and implement database schemas and data models following best practices.
• Automate database provisioning and deployment using PowerShell and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Integrate databases with .NET/C# applications and ensure seamless backend connectivity.
• Monitor performance, diagnose issues, and apply tuning in Azure environments.
• Apply security, auditing, and compliance controls to protect data.
• Collaborate in Agile/Scrum teams to deliver features iteratively.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Senior Database Developer or equivalent.
• Strong background with SQL Server and Azure SQL platforms.
• Hands‑on expertise in PowerShell scripting and Azure DevOps/GitHub workflows.
• Familiarity with .NET/C# integration and cloud‑based architectures.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.
