AWS Python Data Engineer

About the role

Infosys Financial Services is seeking an AWS Python Data Engineer to join its digital transformation team. You will work on AI‑driven, cloud‑based solutions for banking, wealth management, and insurance clients, helping them accelerate growth and improve operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Document and elicit business requirements for data solutions.
• Facilitate design discussions and capture architectural decisions.
• Develop, test, and integrate new features using Python, PySpark, and AWS services.
• Perform code reviews, maintain code repositories, and ensure system stability.
• Implement test strategies, analyze results, and coordinate bug fixes.
• Create user training materials, documentation, and support frameworks.
• Resolve production issues and recommend preventive measures.
• Maintain detailed records of code changes, testing techniques, and support activities.

Required profile

• Strong collaborative spirit and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to manage end‑to‑end SDLC phases from requirements to deployment.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced, technology‑focused environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud platform.
• Advanced Python programming skills.
• Experience with PySpark for big‑data processing.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
