AWS Infrastructure Manager

About the role

As the AWS Infrastructure Manager you will lead the design, deployment, and ongoing management of the AWS cloud environment that powers our luxury automotive sales platform. You will ensure high availability, robust security, and top‑tier performance while guiding a team of cloud engineers and collaborating with product, security, and development groups.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the architecture, implementation, and ongoing management of AWS infrastructure to support high‑traffic luxury automotive sales operations.
• Define and enforce best practices for security, compliance, and data‑sensitive environments.
• Oversee identity and access management, encryption standards, and privacy‑regulation adherence.
• Manage infrastructure automation using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Monitor system health, performance, and security to ensure uninterrupted service.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to streamline application deployment.
• Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and scalability.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of cloud infrastructure engineers.

Required profile

• Proven leadership experience managing AWS infrastructure for high‑availability, customer‑facing platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards such as GDPR and PCI‑DSS.
• Excellent communication and project‑management abilities in fast‑paced environments.
• Relevant AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect – Professional, DevOps Engineer – Professional) strongly preferred.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, CloudWatch, IAM, Kubernetes).
• Infrastructure as Code tools: CloudFormation, Terraform.
• Scripting languages: Python, Bash.
• Container orchestration: EKS or Kubernetes.
• Monitoring and logging tools.
• Networking concepts and cloud architecture.
