AWS DevOps Lead – San Antonio, TX

About the role

Infosys is seeking an AWS DevOps Lead to drive the design, implementation and operation of cloud‑native infrastructure for its clients in San Antonio. The role sits within the Infosys Cloud unit and reports to the Infrastructure Management practice.

Key responsibilities

• Develop diagnostic tools, monitoring protocols and perform root‑cause analysis for complex incidents while ensuring SLA compliance.
• Conduct comprehensive IT infrastructure assessments, identify gaps and risks, and recommend tailored enhancements.
• Design and deliver scalable, secure, high‑performance cloud solutions on AWS.
• Optimize deployment pipelines, ensure environment readiness, troubleshoot issues and produce deployment documentation.
• Implement robust change‑management processes to minimize risk during system and technology updates.
• Enhance system performance through advanced monitoring, capacity planning and bottleneck mitigation.
• Apply security controls and disaster‑recovery strategies, including risk assessments and database activity monitoring.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading DevOps initiatives on Amazon Web Services.
• Strong background in infrastructure design, automation and performance tuning.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical solutions to stakeholders.
