AWS Architect – Cloud Solutions Lead

About the role

The AWS Architect will lead the design, development, administration, and ongoing operation of AWS‑hosted applications, infrastructure, and services for both cloud‑native and hybrid workloads. You will ensure secure, compliant, and scalable solutions across multiple AWS services while supporting production and non‑production environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and administer AWS environments following best practices and security standards.
• Manage AWS account structure, IAM roles, policies, and least‑privilege access.
• Develop and maintain solutions using core AWS services such as EC2, Auto Scaling, ELB, VPC, S3, EBS, EFS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.
• Configure and support Amazon Connect contact‑center environments, including flows, queues, routing profiles, and integrations.
• Integrate AI‑enabled solutions with Amazon Bedrock where applicable.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation, Terraform, or equivalent tools.
• Monitor system performance, availability, and cost‑optimization opportunities.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues and support CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with security teams to enforce encryption, logging, monitoring, and compliance controls.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, and architectural diagrams; provide knowledge transfer and mentoring.

Required profile

• 6+ years of IT experience supporting enterprise systems.
• 3+ years of hands‑on AWS development or administration.
• Proven experience with AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, Lambda) and Amazon Connect.
• Strong understanding of security, compliance, and operational best practices.
