AVP, Enterprise Resource Planning Architecture

About the role

The Assistant Vice President, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Architecture will lead the ERP architecture team within the Federal Reserve System IT organization. This officer‑level position partners closely with product teams to embed architectural expertise, understand deep business context, and co‑create scalable ERP solutions that support the nation’s central banking functions.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects to develop deep product knowledge, user needs, and strategic direction for ERP solutions.
• Engage stakeholders, business units, and technical peers to align technology with business strategies and industry trends.
• Collaborate with product teams to identify technical enablers, provide realistic cost/effort estimates, surface scaling and integration risks, and shape multi‑year roadmaps.
• Guide architects in presenting options, trade‑offs, and strategic guidance, challenging assumptions and proposing better approaches.
• Foster a culture of ownership over solution quality, scalability, performance, and sustainability.
• Stay current on industry trends and the broader Federal Reserve architecture landscape, providing strategic direction and reporting metrics on architecture success.
