Avionics Maintenance Technician

About the role

West Star is seeking an Avionics Maintenance Technician to join its fast‑growing team in Las Vegas. You will work on‑site, troubleshooting and repairing avionics components and systems to ensure aircraft safety and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general avionics support, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot, evaluate, and repair navigation, communication, radar, audio, and autopilot systems.
• Inspect aircraft and components, verify system performance, and conduct functional checks.
• Maintain and repair shop equipment, tools, and facilities.
• Collaborate with customers on project management, pricing, and support.
• Work independently on assigned projects and complete any additional duties as directed.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent; electronics or avionics training preferred.
• 1+ years experience in avionics repair or installation is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license (airline travel approved) or passport preferred.
• Self‑motivated team player able to meet deadlines and work overtime or weekends.
• Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
• Effective communication in English, both spoken and written.
• Basic computer skills for navigating electronic manuals and maintenance databases.
