About the role

The State of Georgia, through Chattahoochee Technical College, seeks a part‑time Aviation Avionics Adjunct Instructor to deliver the Avionics Bench Technician curriculum. The role involves classroom, online, and laboratory instruction while ensuring compliance with FAA, EPA, and OSHA standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging instruction for the Avionics Bench Technician program in face‑to‑face, online, and lab environments.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance in all lab activities.
• Assist the Aviation Program Director with budget management and fiscal oversight.
• Support student recruitment, retention, and advising efforts.
• Collaborate with the Dean, faculty, and academic leadership to achieve departmental goals.

Required profile

• Aircraft Electronics or Avionics Certificate, or at least five years of professional experience in avionics/aircraft electronics.
• Ability to teach technical content and assess program outcomes.
• Willingness to work on a CTC campus until the permanent facility is completed.

What we offer

• Hourly compensation of $50 per hour, up to 22 hours per week.
• Part‑time, term‑based appointment with no expectation of extension beyond the academic term.
