Aviation Architect – Design & Construction

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Architect to lead aviation‑related projects, delivering innovative design solutions from concept through construction. The role blends office collaboration with remote work, supporting our clients in the aviation and commercial sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze client requirements and develop architectural concepts tailored to aviation facilities.
• Prepare schematic, design development, and construction documents.
• Coordinate with sub‑consultants, manage production drawings, and edit project narratives and specifications.
• Research and select appropriate materials for each project.
• Oversee construction submittals, RFIs, and assist the project manager with construction administration.
• Review sub‑consultant invoices and client pay applications.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture (or Master’s with reduced experience) and a valid Architecture license.
• Minimum three years of experience in aviation or commercial architecture (or one year with a Master’s degree).
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and communicate effectively with clients and consultants.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Revit, SketchUp, Enscape or Lumion, AutoCAD, and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong knowledge of aviation design standards and construction documentation.
