Automotive Product Validation Lab Technician

About the role
We are looking for a skilled Automotive Product Validation Lab Technician to join our St. Joseph plant. You will work in a hands‑on lab environment testing brake actuation and medium‑ and heavy‑duty truck brake products to ensure safety, performance and reliability.
Key responsibilities
- Perform functional performance, misuse, environmental, durability and NVH validation testing on prototypes and production samples.
- Follow test plans and procedures, set up and operate test equipment, data acquisition systems, sensors and diagnostic tools.
- Build prototype samples to support new projects and validation activities.
- Identify and report product or equipment abnormalities, diagnose hydraulic, mechanical, electrical and software issues, and assist in resolution.
- Analyze test data, document results, findings and failures, and contribute to continuous improvement of lab facilities and processes.
Required profile
- Experience with automotive brake system testing and validation.
- Ability to work independently in a lab setting and follow detailed test procedures.
