About the role

Reynolds and Reynolds is seeking experienced automotive professionals to join its consulting team. As an Automotive Business Consultant you will travel nationwide, working directly with dealership personnel to improve operational efficiency, profitability, and overall performance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and maintain professional relationships with dealership customers.
• Identify operational challenges within dealerships and apply proven consulting programs.
• Deliver on‑site assessments, recommendations, and implementation support.
• Provide post‑project follow‑up and fee‑for‑service support to sustain improvements.
• Drive consulting services sales by building trust and demonstrating value.

Required profile

• High School Diploma (Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required).
• 5+ years of experience in automotive dealership roles such as sales, service, parts, fixed operations, or general management.
• Willingness to travel extensively with up to five overnight hotel stays per week.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and reliable personal transportation.
• Reliable home internet for video conferencing.

What we offer

• Base salary of $60,000‑$63,000 during a 90‑day training period.
• Quarterly bonuses after training, targeting total compensation of $80,000+.
