About the role

The State of Georgia seeks an Automation Technology Adjunct Instructor to teach the Industrial Systems Technology (IST) program at Wiregrass Georgia Technical College. This part‑time position supports students in gaining practical automation skills while promoting equity and inclusion.

Key responsibilities

Deliver classroom instruction and labs for automation technology courses.
Apply effective teaching techniques, testing, and grading procedures.
Follow approved course syllabi and maintain accurate course documentation.
Manage inventory of instructional equipment and materials.

Required profile

Diploma or higher in Industrial Systems Technology or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Required skills

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
