Auto Parts Coordinator, Autonomous Vehicles (FT)

About the role

Avis Budget Group is hiring an Auto Parts Coordinator for its autonomous vehicle (AV) operations at the DFW Rental Car Center, near DFW International Airport. The role manages the parts, tools and materials needed to maintain the AV fleet, ensuring inventory accuracy, efficient distribution and compliance with company and partner standards. Pay is $19.00 per hour, with shift premium possible.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, track and manage incoming and outgoing parts, tools and supplies used in AV maintenance
• Maintain accurate records for shipping, indirect purchasing and warranty returns
• Run daily inventory counts and support periodic inventory audits
• Source, order and distribute automotive and AV components such as sensors, hardware and charging equipment
• Keep bins, labels and organization of materials and tools tidy
• Work with depot operations, fleet maintenance and supply chain teams to keep materials available on time
• Report low stock, discrepancies and shipment delays, and communicate with vendors on ordering, repairs and shipping
• Prepare and update fleet service, supplies and parts usage reports
• Operate a forklift where required, maintain tire disposal and stocking areas, and follow safety policies

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year of experience in automotive parts management, inventory control or warehouse operations
• Valid driver's license and authorization to work in the United States
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including early mornings, evenings, nights or weekends, and to be present on site regularly
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel and reach for up to 8 hours and lift a minimum of 30 lbs with assistance

Required skills

• SAP experience preferred
• Microsoft Office, including Excel
• Strong organization, multitasking and attention to detail
