Auditor (Level 1/2/3) – Gaming Enforcement Division

About the role

The Gaming Enforcement Division’s Corporate Securities Section is seeking qualified Auditors (Level 1, 2 or 3) to conduct financial suitability investigations and monitor the financial stability of gaming licensees throughout Louisiana. This position supports the division’s mission to ensure integrity and compliance of all authorized gaming operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform financial suitability investigations on applicants seeking gaming licenses.
• Monitor and assess the ongoing financial stability of licensees and their parent companies.
• Verify compliance with state gaming statutes, regulations, and internal controls.
• Prepare and review audit reports and financial analyses for accuracy and completeness.
• Collaborate with other sections of the Gaming Audit Section to support revenue collection and reporting.

Required profile

• Three years of experience in accounting or auditing, OR six years of full‑time experience plus 24 semester hours in accounting, auditing, finance, business, economics, quantitative methods, or information systems.
• Bachelor’s degree with 24 semester hours in the above fields, OR a degree in accounting, auditing, finance, business administration, management, economics, information systems, quantitative methods, or statistics.
• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFE, CIA, CISA, or CGAP are preferred.
• Advanced degree in a related field is an additional qualification.
